The Yemeni national team loses a decisive match against its Jordanian counterpart and is bid farewell to the tournament


This evening, Friday, a decisive match between the Yemeni Olympic team and its Jordanian counterpart ended with the latter’s victory with two goals against a goal in the West Asian Football Championship, officially quitting the tournament.
The first half of the match between Yemen and Jordan ended in a positive 1-1 tie, after the Jordanian team scored the first goal in the Yemeni net from a penalty kick in the 36th minute, while the Yemeni team scored the equalizing goal in the same half at the 39th minute.
Today, at 5:45 pm, the Yemeni team played its decisive match against the Jordanian team, after it was the leader of its group.
