The Yemeni youth team leaves for Iraq to participate in the West Asian Championship


The delegation of the Yemeni youth team left today, Friday, for the Iraqi city of Basra, to participate in the West Asian Championship, which starts tomorrow, Saturday, and will continue until the first of next December.

The team left the temporary capital, Aden, by a private plane, heading to Basra.

The coach of the team, Captain Mohamed Al-Nafaei, announced the team’s list for the tournament, which included 23 players as follows:

Goalkeepers: Bassam Farid, Nabil Al-Tashi, Shadwan Sanad

Defense: Abu Bakr Ihab, Imad Al-Dima, Hisham Balabil, Muhammad Al-Qashmi, Ahmed Al-Sawadi, Hassan Aish, Mutasem Al-Jarmoozi, Jamil Al-Dabai.

The middle: Abdul Rahman Al-Shami, Muhammad Al-Awami, Abdullah Raafat, Alaa Al-Din Aousha, Muhammad Radi, Hassan Al-Komani.

Attackers: Mohamed Bouchi, Ammar Noaman, Zakaria Taftouf, Qassem Al-Sharafi, Mohamed Dembar, Hamza Mahrous.

Yesterday, Thursday, the team finished its internal camp, which was held in the city of Aden, in preparation for the West Asian Championship, to be held in Iraq.
