Urgent directive from a government hospital to raise readiness to face the effects of Hurricane “Shaheen” in Aden


The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Model Hospital in Aden, Dr. Ahmed Salem Al-Jarba, issued an urgent directive to the Accident and Emergency Center to raise the readiness; To counter the effects of “Hurricane Shaheen” on the city of Aden.

Dr. Al-Jarba directed the medical and nursing staff to be present at the hospital’s emergency center, and to prepare for all expected possibilities; due to the effects of the hurricane.

Hurricane Shaheen hit the governorates of Al-Mahra and Hadramout, and its effects reached the governorates of Shabwa and Abyan, amid expectations that it would reach Aden.

All government facilities and stakeholders in Aden have raised their level of readiness and readiness to face any expected repercussions as a result of the hurricane’s effects.
