Urgent: The Houthi militia announces a major military escalation of the coalition forces in several governorates and vows to respond

Yahya Saree, the military spokesman for the Houthi coup militia, said this evening, Thursday, that the forces of the coalition to support legitimacy have significantly escalated their military operations against the militias in several Yemeni governorates.

And he added in a brief statement: “In a major escalation, the coalition forces have launched over the past 24 hours more than 65 air raids, distributed over a number of the republic’s governorates.”

The Houthi military spokesman vowed to respond, and said, “This escalation will have serious consequences for the coalition countries, and they must bear its consequences.”

Earlier, the coalition announced the implementation of a “widespread operation” against military targets in four provinces in the country.

In a statement published by the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the coalition said: “We carried out a wide operation for legitimate military objectives in response to the ballistic and drone threat.”

The statement stated, “The air strikes included targets in the governorates of Sanaa, Dhamar, Saada and Al-Jawf.”

He added: “Workshops and warehouses for ballistic missiles, drones and communications systems were destroyed.”

He stated that the operation also targeted “a secret facility for experts of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and the Lebanese Hezbollah, which were involved in hostile attacks,” without comment from Tehran or Hezbollah.
