A short while ago, violent battles broke out between government forces and the Houthi coup militia in Al-Dhalea Governorate (southern Yemen).
Muhammad al-Naqib, a military spokesman for the Transitional Council, said that the confrontations on the fronts northwest of Al-Dhalea renewed a while ago, between government forces and the Houthi militia.
He added, in a brief statement, seen by “The Yemeni Scene”, that the confrontations, in which mortars and various medium caliber weapons are used, are concentrated in the Al-Fakher and Bab Al-Ghafa sectors.
Noting that the renewed battles on the fronts of Al-Dhalea came two hours after an attack by the Houthi militia towards the Sabira al-Jib sector was defeated and incurred heavy losses.
Earlier, the terrorist Houthi militia targeted the homes of residents of the village of “Jada’a” in the Maris region of Al-Dhalea governorate, with three Katyusha rockets.
