Violent battles in Al-Abdiyyah in Marib… and two leaders of the National Army were killed

Informed sources revealed that violent battles resumed today, Saturday, between the National Army forces in the Abdiya district, south of Ma’rib Governorate.

The sources said that the Houthi militia launched a large-scale military attack towards the positions of the National Army forces and the people of the “Bani Abd” area, which has been besieged by the Houthi militia for 18 days.

The sources indicated that violent clashes left dozens of dead and wounded on both sides.

The sources concluded by saying that the National Army had lost 2 of its most prominent military leaders, including the leader “Yasser Laakab Al-Omari,” one of the leaders of the “156th Brigade,” and the leader “Anas Al-Saidi,” the son of Sheikh “Nasser Al-Saidi,” the leader of the Abdiya resistance.
