The media circulated scenes documenting a series of loud explosions north of the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, which is under the control of the Houthi coup militia.
According to Al-Arabiya channel, the video that documented the explosions resulted from the destruction of the Houthi militia’s weapons depot by the Arab coalition aircraft.
The sources indicated that the weapons depot, which was destroyed by the coalition aircraft, is located near Al-Daylami Air Base, north of the capital, Sana’a.
And on Wednesday, the coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen announced the implementation of air strikes on camps and legitimate military targets in Sanaa.
The coalition said, “The operation in Sana’a targeted the presidential residence camps,” adding: “We destroyed workshops for ballistic missiles, drones, and underground stores.”
He explained that the Houthi militia is rehabilitating the use of camps and sites for camouflage, noting that “those involved in hostile operations and terrorist leaders are legitimate military targets.”
The coalition confirmed that it had taken preventive measures to spare civilians and civilian objects from collateral damage, and stressed that the operation was in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
For days, the Arab coalition has been carrying out qualitative military operations, targeting workshops and warehouses of ballistic missiles and drones of the Houthi militia and sites of the Revolutionary Guards and Hezbollah terrorist cells in Sanaa, Dhamar and Saada.
