Today, Tuesday, the terrorist Houthi militia made field progress, after fierce military battles, in the Al-Juba district, south of Ma’rib Governorate (in the east of the country).
Field and military sources confirmed the Houthi militia’s incursion into a number of areas on the outskirts of the Juba District, south of Marib.
The sources indicated that the militia took control of the Cairo area, Al-Rawda area, Al-Khuwair area, Wasit area, where the commander of the Bayhan axis, Major General Mufreh Buhaibah, and the market area (Abdul Ghani station) were housed.
According to the sources, the forces of the National Army and the Popular Resistance are now stationed in the “Abasid (Al Diab)” area, which is close to the “Al Jadeed” area, which includes the directorate’s security department.
For his part, the field activist present on the battlefield, Zaid Ali Al-Shaleef, confirmed the arrival of the Houthi militia to the village of “Wasit”, the first village of Al-Juba, stressing that Al-Juba is still under the control of the army forces and the tribesmen.
The outskirts of the Directorate witnessed fierce military battles between the Houthis and the National Army, several weeks ago, during which the Houthi militia lost dozens of its leaders and gunmen.
