Saleh al-Shaer, who was born in Razih District, Saada Governorate, in 1965, is considered one of the most famous arms dealers, who supplied the Houthi militia with various types of weapons, especially anti-armor ones, according to a report issued earlier by the initiative to recover looted funds.

The name of the Houthi leader, the poet, emerged a few months after the coup, as he took charge of supplies to the Houthi militia, and he also has strong relations with Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the coup militia.
