The Yemeni Observatory, during its forecast for Thursday, alerted the citizens in three governorates of the winter weather in the coming hours.
The bulletin expected that the mountainous heights would witness a clear and relatively cold to cold atmosphere during the night and early morning, and an awakening to partly cloudy during the day, as scattered cumulus rain clouds form on the western highlands, especially the southwestern highlands of the governorates (Ibb, Taiz, Al Dhale’ and Lahj) as well as parts of the The heights of the governorates (Hadhramaut, Shabwa, and Abyan) during the afternoon and evening periods.
The bulletin stated that the coastal areas will have a clear atmosphere to partly cloudy, and scattered rain will fall on parts of the interior areas adjacent to the western and southwestern coasts, and the winds will be light to moderate, active at times, causing dust and sand.
She pointed out that the desert areas will witness a clear atmosphere to partly cloudy, and the winds will be northeasterly moderate, active at times, causing dust and sand.
While the weather in the Socotra archipelago will be partly cloudy with the possibility of scattered rain, the winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly moderate, with a maximum speed of 18 knots.
The National Meteorological Center warned the brothers:
Citizens in the mountainous heights, especially the governorates of (Sana’a, Amran and Dhamar) from cold weather during the night and early morning, and wear winter clothes to preserve their safety.
