Yemeni meteorologists warn citizens in 8 governorates of the weather in the coming hours


The National Center of Yemeni Meteorology has issued its daily forecast for weather conditions and temperatures in Yemen during the coming hours.

The National Center of Meteorology warned citizens:

* From heavy rains and torrential flows in reefs and valleys, as well as from thunderstorms in the aforementioned governorates, and taking the necessary precautions to preserve their safety and the safety of their property. The following is advised:

1. The necessity of staying away from and not crossing the corridors and streams of torrential rain, and taking shelter from thunderstorms during and after rain.

2. The necessity of sheltering animals, bees and birds and benefiting from the storm water.

3. It is necessary to inspect the houses, especially the old mud ones, as well as the water drainage networks in the cities.

The bulletin, which was monitored by “Al-Mashhad Al-Yemeni”, expected that the mountainous heights will witness partly cloudy to cloudy weather, with the sky overcast in the afternoon and evening periods. Rainfall of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, will occur in the mountainous governorates from Lahj in the south to Saada in the north, as well as the interior hills and may be heaviest in the governorates (Hadhramaut, Shabwa, Abyan, Lahj, Taiz, Ibb, Al Dhale’ and Raymah).

She stated that the weather in the coastal areas will be hot, humid, partly cloudy to cloudy, and rainfall, some of which may be heavy, with thunder sometimes on the southern and western coasts and the corresponding interior areas, and it will be between medium and light on the eastern coasts.

She indicated that the desert areas will witness hot, clear to partly cloudy weather, with the possibility of scattered rain, especially in the deserts (Al-Jawf, Marib, Shabwa and Hadramout).

While the weather in the Socotra archipelago will be partly cloudy with the possibility of scattered rain.
