The National Center of Meteorology, during its forecast daily bulletin of weather conditions, alerted citizens of rain and the possibility of torrential rains in the valleys, in order to preserve their safety and the safety of their properties, in areas where rain is expected.
The bulletin also alerted citizens of low visibility due to the formation of water mist or fog in the bends and mountain slopes
The bulletin, which was followed by “The Yemeni Scene”, expected that the mountainous heights will witness clear weather that tends to cool during the late hours of the night and early morning, and partly cloudy during the day, with the possibility of rain accompanied by thunderstorms in separate areas of the mountainous governorates, especially the southwestern ones, and extending eastward towards the interior plateaus of the governorates. (Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout) in the afternoon and evening periods.
The bulletin stated that the coastal areas are clear to partly cloudy weather, relatively hot and humid during the day, with the possibility of light rain on parts of the western, southern and eastern coasts, and winds are active on the southern and western coasts, reaching a maximum speed of 20 knots, stirring dust and sand.
She pointed out that the desert areas will have a warm to partly cloudy atmosphere, hot during the day, and the winds will be active to reach a maximum speed of 20 knots, raising dust and sand.
On the other hand, the Socotra archipelago will witness partly cloudy weather, and winds will activate at times, reaching a maximum speed of 26 knots, causing waves to rise.
